Healing Through Somatic Psychotherapy

Trauma can manifest in many ways, affecting your emotional and physical well-being. Click the button below to explore common symptoms of trauma and start your journey toward healing.

Somatic psychotherapy is a deeply integrative approach that goes beyond traditional talk therapy by including the body’s sensations and responses as key elements in the healing process.

Unlike standard therapy, which focuses mainly on exploring thoughts and emotions, somatic therapy recognizes that our bodies store memories, reactions, and traumas that words alone often can't access or release. Through somatic practices, we pay attention to what’s happening physically—tightness in the chest, tension in the shoulders, or a gut feeling—allowing us to uncover layers of experience that might be outside of conscious awareness.

This body-centered focus not only brings awareness to hidden patterns and suppressed emotions but also provides tools to release and transform them. Somatic psychotherapy is particularly powerful because it allows us to heal on multiple levels, integrating body and mind so that change feels more complete, grounded, and lasting.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, somatic therapy views the body’s responses as valuable sources of insight, helping clients access deeper, lasting change. Our clinicians are highly trained in trauma care, integrating Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Parts work, along with emotional and cognitive processing, as key elements of the healing process.

Many clients come to us after trying other therapies that didn’t lead to lasting results, and we’re dedicated to breaking that pattern by helping clients tap into their body’s wisdom.

We take a unique approach to therapy by integrating somatic practices that engage the body as an essential part of your healing journey
