You can expect me to show up as a fellow human—warm, thoughtful, and gently challenging. Our work might include exploring emotional or behavioral patterns, cultivating self-compassion, noticing how your body responds to stress, or making values-based choices that move your life forward. I value mindfulness, yoga, and somatic practices as ways to reconnect with subtle parts of the self that daily life often overlooks.

My background includes work in K-12 education, community mental health, and wilderness therapy. I work in-person and virtually with adolescents and adults (ages 14 and up) navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma histories, identity development, life transitions, parenting, and questions around substance use. I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds, including neurodivergent individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

I think of therapy like untangling a ball of yarn. With attention, patience, and the right tools, what once felt tightly wound can become flexible, creative, and full of potential.

I offer a space to explore the nuances of your life. My approach is relational and collaborative, using therapy as an opportunity to slow down, bring awareness to what needs attention, and experiment with new ways of being. I consider how past and present experiences shape the ways we relate—to others, to the world, and to ourselves. In our work together, we’ll notice patterns that show up and build new ways of connecting that align with what you most want in life.

My work integrates a psychodynamic foundation with mindfulness and body-based awareness. Depending on your needs, we may draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused approaches. Sometimes therapy means practicing communication or coping skills; other times it’s about deepening insight and creating new experiences of safety, agency, and connection.

- Rainer Maria Rilke

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions
themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue…
Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some
distant day into the answer.
