She/Her

“Our deepest calling is to grow into our own authentic self-hood, whether or not it conforms to some image of who we ought to be. As we do so, we will not only find the joy that every human being seeks—we will also find our path of authentic service in the world.” –Parker Palmer

I work with adults, teens and preteens (ages 11+) who are grieving because someone important has died or who are working to recover from other trauma. I especially love working with individuals of any age who feel “stuck” because they have tried in all the ways they know how and are ready for some new skills and perspective. I work best in-person as I believe shared physical space provides the best possible opportunity for us to connect and work together.

My therapy style can be described as an archeological dig: We work with patience and curiosity to uncover treasures that help us understand where we’ve been and choose where to go next.

I passionately believe that we all have a deep knowing of our own wholeness. Your deep knowing may be hard to see or recognize because it has been covered up by overwhelming life experiences. Signs that your sense of wholeness is buried may look like: anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem, relationship conflicts, isolation, hopelessness, or a general sense that you are not living up to your full potential. With you in the lead, I will help you choose the richest places to explore as well as help you process, cope with, and make sense of what you find. My approach is non-judgmental, empathetic, and practical. Most importantly, my approach is focused on you!
